Research Scientist @ Meta
Graham is a Research Scientist at Meta who conducts cutting edge research on Federated Computation and Differential Privacy. Since 2013, he was a professor at the University of Warwick, UK. Prior to this, he held research positions at AT&T Labs and Bell Labs in NJ, USA. He has worked extensively on privacy and data summarization,
and has been recognized as a Fellow of the ACM for his
work on data summarization and privacy.
Akash Bharadwaj
Tech Lead @ Meta
Akash is a Tech Lead at Meta who is driving fundamental changes to Meta's privacy commitments by deploying federated computation for ML and Analytics, in conjunction with privacy enhancing technologies like DP (Differential Privacy) and Secure Multi-Party Computation. Previously, he worked at Elemental Cognition as a senior researcher, building conversational AI using ML and NLP techniques. Prior to that, he was a research assistant at Carnegie Mellon University, working on structured prediction and information extraction from text. He has published at a number of well renowned venues on all of the above topics, such as ACL, EMNLP, NeurIPS, AAAI etc.
